Worship

“…the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

~ John 4:23-24

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

~ Romans 12:1-3

Worship is the fundamental act of the Christian. The goal of God’s salvation plan is ultimately redeeming sinners to worship Him as they were originally created to do. The Christian is not only to worship God in every aspect of life, but also to worship God in community. Therefore, weekly worship services are very important for the Christian’s faith journey.

Worship services are not only for the Christian, but for those who are seeking to know more about God and His people. Therefore, all are welcomed!

Jaffray’s English-speaking worship service takes place every Sunday at 9am and ends around 10:30am. There are three special joint congregation worship services every year: Easter (spring), Church Anniversary (September), and Christmas (winter). Baptisms and membership transfers usually take place at these join services.
