Softball
Every summer the church participates in the Chinese Christian Softball Association (CCSA). The CCSA has been around since 1980 and is comprised of many local churches in the GTA. Through the course of the summer, teams from each of the churches compete against one another. This is a great opportunity to develop softball skills, meet some new friends, and experience the summer sun.
Toronto Public Health
Parenting workshops and seminars are held at the church in partnership with Toronto Public Health. These workshops are led by experienced facilitators from the city and typically run for a period of 8-10 weeks in the church’s childcare facility. Workshops focus on relationship building with babies and toddlers, food and nutrition, etc. Workshops are typically held on Saturday mornings.
VBS: Trail Mix Day Camp
Trail Mix is a summer day camp that is held during the month of June. Each year the camp has a different theme. The camp is run by enthusiastic leaders and students to provide a fun and welcoming environment for children and volunteers. During the camp, children have fun, go on field trips around the city and learn a variety of things. Many of the children and youth have developed great relationships and look forward to returning each year.
