Description: Samuel means heard of God because God heard Hannah’s prayer. When Hannah prayed for a son, she was not praying like us when we try to bargain with God. She was truly trying to give all glory to God with her son, dedicating him to God. She showed boundless faith and joyous certainty with God. God is never too busy for you and you are not too insignificant. The confidence in prayer is different and significant to Christianity, as we are sure God hears our prayers.
