1. TJCAC Reopening
TJCAC will reopen for in-person ministry for all ministry related events and meetings beginning tentatively on Sunday, February 27, 2022. We will be complying with all public health regulations, and will monitor the pandemic trends and adjust timelines if needed. We will leave the exact date for each ministry’s re-opening to the leading of the Holy Spirit for each ministry. Please complete all room bookings with Carmen, Church Admin Assistant, and appoint a ministry secretary for every event to keep records of attendance for future contact tracing.
2. Elder Board Acting Vice-Chair
The Elder Board is pleased to announce that Elder Herman Mo will serve in the role of Acting Vice-Chair, in addition to his roles as Treasurer and English Ministry Advisor.
3. Holy Communion
The first Sunday of each month is holy communion. Please prepare your elements of bread and juice at home next week so we can partake of Christ together.
4. Jaffray English Email List
Are you receiving emails from the church? If you would like to receive information regarding worship, events, prayer meetings and other important announcements, please send a request to kennethkim@tjcac.org to join the email list.
5. Baptism & Membership Classes
If you would like to be baptized, want to become a member of Jaffray or need to do a membership transfer, please email Pastor Ken at kennethkim@tjcac.org. Baptism and membership classes will begin on Sunday, February 6, 11am-12pm on Zoom and run for 4 weeks.
6. Joint Prayer Meeting
Joint prayer meeting will be on Wednesday, Feb.16 at 8pm instead of the usual first Wednesday of the month. Zoom link will be sent out to those on the mailing list.
