2022 WK11 Announcements

1. TJCAC Reopening
With indoor in person services, TJCAC will continue our health and safety practices, including pre-registration, physical distancing and indoor masking. On Mar 1, 2022, COVID-19 Public Health capacity limits and proof of vaccination will be lifted in all indoor settings in Ontario. This is great encouragement for all of us to break our habit of not meeting together in person, and for TJCAC to move from fear of COVID-19 to faith in the Lord who calls us together in person. The Elder Board continues to evaluate our practices for physical distancing, capacity limits, live streaming online, and possibly will make changes on April 1, 2022, to be announced after Mar 21, 2022.

2. Zoom Host Volunteers
We are looking for some volunteers to help host our Sunday worship live stream on Zoom. With the return to in-person worship and a shortage of Zoom hosts, we likely will not be able to sustain this platform beyond Good Friday service. If you would like to volunteer and be trained, please contact Pastor Ken at kennethkim@tjcac.org.

4. Jaffray English Email List
Are you receiving emails from the church? If you would like to receive information regarding worship, events, prayer meetings and other important announcements, please send a request to kennethkim@tjcac.org to join the email list.

5. Lent Prayer Meetings
We are having special Lent prayer meetings as we confess and look to the cross on Good Friday. If you are seeking genuine transformation, come, be reminded and experience the power we have in Jesus and in the cross. Wednesday 8pm on Zoom. Link sent out to those on the email list.

6. Annual General Meeting
The semi Annual General Meeting will be held as hybrid In-Person AND On Zoom on March 27, 2022 at 12:30pm. All members are encouraged to attend.  The AGM Agenda, AGM Voting Procedure, and 2021 Annual Report is attached. Additional proposed agenda items for consideration by the Elder Board and should be submitted by email to Elder Vincent Ho, Acting Chair, or Elder Cynthia So, Secretary, on or before 9am on March 20, 2022.

• A Pre-AGM Consultation Meeting to discuss and answer questions for the AGM Agenda will be held In-Person in the Sanctuary on March 20, 2022 at 12:30pm.  All members are welcome.  Registration is not required.
• Pre-registration is required to attend the AGM for each member.   Please Pre-Register either for attendance In-Person OR On Zoom, NOT both:
