1. Jaffray English Email List
If you would like to receive information regarding worship, events, prayer meetings and other important announcements from our church, please send a request to kennethkim@tjcac.org to join our email list.
2. Rapid Antigen Test
COVID Rapid Antigen Tests will be available for distribution in person on Sundays in December, 2022 at worship service, 1 kit per family, while quantities last. During this season of respiratory illnesses, please stay home if you are sick, and wear face masks when indoors at church.
3. Rahab Ministry
Jaffray ladies will have a short event on Sun Dec 4 to pack gift bags for Rahab Ministry. We will collect new cosmetics and hygiene items, or other appropriate giftable items, and assemble them together into gift bags that Rahab can give out to ladies during their outreach events. We will meet in the White House from 10:45-11:45, after English service but before the AGM.
4. Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Annual General Meeting #2 will be held today at 12:30-1:30pm in the Sanctuary. This will be in person only.
The following supporting documents have already been sent to you by email:
1. Dec. 4, 2022 AGM Agenda;
2. Voting Procedures for 2023 Elder Election;
3. Mar. 27, 2022 AGM Minutes; and
4. 2023 Proposed Budget.
In addition, the Active Membership List has been posted on the bulletin board at the east entrance. Any additional agenda item suggestion or elder nomination must be submitted in writing to the Elder Board Acting Chair, Elder Vincent Ho or Elder Board Secretary, Elder Cynthia So no later than 9:00am on November 27, 2022.
5. Christmas Outreach
Date: Sunday, Dec 18
Time: 1-2pm
Location: Rouge Valley Church (70 Old Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1E 3J5)
Purpose: To bless international students with the love of Christ this Christmas.
How: Christmas carols, hot chocolate and cider, gift bags, and worship. To make donations for the gift bags please e-transfer dorinda.mui@gmail.com.
6. Family Life Canada: Weekend Getaway Marriage Conference
Dates: March 3-5, 2023 (Friday – Sunday)
Location: Queen’s Landing (155 Byron St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0)
Registration Rates: $290 per couple (early bird – until Feb 20 ,2023)
Not Included In Registration: Hotel, meals, parking
Subsidy: Available and depending on the number of couples who register

7. Prayer Meeting
Joint prayer meeting continues this Wednesday at 8pm on Zoom. Zoom link provided to those on the email list.
8. Sunday School
Our class on the book of Acts will be on break until March 2023. It has been such an encouragement to see a greater hunger and desire for God through his Word. Thank you for a great semester for all who have been praying for our Sunday School, for the teachers and for those who participated by attending and sharing in the study.
