2. Jaffray English Email List
If you would like to receive information regarding worship, events, announcements and
devotions from our church, please send a request to kennethkim@tjcac.org to join our
email list.
3. English Prayer Meeting
Our prayer meeting takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month in July and August
at 11am in the white house.
4. Church BBQ
On Sunday, July 30 at 12:30pm noon, we will have a Church BBQ. Online and in-person
registration will be available starting July 16.
Youth 12+ and adults – $8
Children 4-11 years old – $5
3 years old and under – free
Newcomers who are joining the church lunch for the first time will be free.
5. Benevolent Fund
Effective July 2, 2023 all donations directed to the Benevolent Fund will be redirected to
the General Fund until further notice. The Benevolent Fund is a fund disbursed for
circumstances of special needs, through application to the Elder Board. As of May 31,
2023, the account balance is at $43,800. Unlike the general fund where amounts can be
reallocated to other funds at the discretion of the Elder Board, amounts in the
Benevolent fund cannot be reallocated. Given the gradual growth of this fund and the
pace that amounts have been disbursed, the Elder Board has decided to pause
collection for this fund. Please direct any questions to Elder Herman Mo, Treasurer.
6. Mosaic Small Groups
Our small groups will be on break in July and August. We encourage small group leaders
to rest from teaching and leading. We will also be planning a men’s and women’s
fellowship in the summer, details to come.
7. Baptism & Membership Transfer
For those who believe they should be baptized or want to transfer their membership to
Jaffray, the classes you need to attend will take place on Sunday July 9, 16, 23.
8. Church Anniversary Banquet
Praise the Lord! Jaffray will be celebrating our 35th Anniversary Sunday, September 10,
2023. In addition to the joint Sunday worship, we are encouraging everyone to
participate at the evening banquet being held at the Golden Palace Banquet Hall, at First
Markham Place, starting at 5:30pm. Ticket prices are $50 for adults; $25 for children
age 5-12. Children under 5 will be free. Accepted payment method cash or cheque,

9. Hosanna Youth Fellowship
Hosanna youth fellowship will be on break from July 7 – Aug 18. Please contact Pastor
