2. Announcement From Elder Board
Regarding washrooms: Outside doors to washrooms will no longer be propped open but shall be left closed. Please note that all washrooms are gender specific with separate Male and Female washrooms.
3. Newcomers Lunch
Our newcomers lunch is today at 12:30pm in the white house.
4. Webmaster Needed
We are looking for a volunteer who would be willing to update and maintain our website. If you are someone who has skills the technical skills to manage a website or willing to learn, doesn’t mind tedious work and you are passionate about church ministries that are outward facing, please consider serving God’s ministry at Jaffray in this capacity.
5. Small Groups
Our small groups will be beginning again in September. Please talk to your small group leader for the date and time you will be meeting. Most small groups are continuing to study the book Deeper: Real Change for Real Sinners by Dane C. Ortlund. If you are interested in joining a small group for the next semester, please let Pastor Ken know and he can connect you to the small group leader.

Dates: October 27-29 (Friday – Sunday)
Price: Adult $120
Children (5-12) $60

1. Fill out the registration form in-person or the online Google Form (https://forms.gle/PX8R71E1XgmwqZpEA)
2. Each person must sign a waiver form
3. Pay the appropriate amount via e-transfer to treasury@tjcac.org and write “English retreat” in the notes

9. Staff News
Pastoral Intern Glen Calica has discerned that God is leading him to end his internship on August 31 and take some time to rest. We want to thank him for all the ways in which he has served and blessed our church.
Pastor Ken will be on vacation from Sept 18-25, please contact Deacon Caleb for anything related to the English Congregation and Pastor Gabriel for any pastoral matters in his absence.
