2. Announcement From Elder Board
Garbage Disposal: TJCAC is committed to environmental and fiscal responsibility with reducing, reusing and recycling. Effective immediately, the new garbage removal contract will ONLY be processing mixed garbage. ANY recyclable or compostable garbage placed into waste receptacles at TJCAC will be disposed of as mixed garbage. We recommend that all members bring their paper waste home to recycle. Thank you for your diligent efforts in environmental stewardship.
From Elder Belinda: Thanks be to God for the blessings and protection to my mother Oi Chee Chan to the end of her life. Thanks be to TJCAC brothers and sisters of your presence at the memorial service or just of your cards and gifts. I deeply feel your love and support and I appreciate from the bottom of my heart.
3. 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Annual General Meeting #2 will be held today at 12:30-1:30pm in the Sanctuary. This will be in person only.
4. Carols & Cups Christmas Outreach
Date & Time: Dec. 17 at 1-2pm
Place: Rouge Valley Church (70 Old Kingston Rd.)
Who: Us, Rouge Valley Church, ISM-C
Purpose: To celebrate Christmas together and outreach to international students
How to get involved?
– Join us for hot chocolate or apple cider, fellowship, and singing of carols
– Make a donation for gift bags to international students via e-transfer to dorinda.mui@gmail.com, or make some baked goods
5. Friends for Dinner
Partner with ISM-C to host a Christmas celebration for 2 or more international students to show love and hospitality. Please speak to David Wong if you are interested or register at www.friendsfordinner.ca
6. Hosanna Youth Fellowship
