1. Spread of Illnesses
Respiratory illnesses are spreading in the community at this time of year. Please protect yourself and everyone at Jaffray by following all public health guidelines, such as keep up to date with vaccines, cover your cough, clean your hands, and remain at home if you are sick.
2. Prayer Meeting
Prayer meeting continues today at 11am in the white house. Please join us as we seek God together and pray for our church.
3. Monthly Lunch Fellowship
No monthly lunch fellowship this Sunday as we have a Potluck Christmas Lunch on Dec 21. There were also some last minute changes so there will also be no snack fundraiser today.

5. Potluck Christmas Lunch

6. PayPal Giving Fund
Please be reminded that while PayPal will recognize and directly issue donation receipts in accordance with the calendar year donations are made, if you want to ensure TJCAC receives the funds within the month of your donation, the donation must be made by the 15th of that month. For example, any PayPal Giving fund donations made between December 16-31 will not be received by TJCAC until late January and will be included in 2026 revenues.
7. Deadline for 2025 Expenses
The deadline to make claims for 2025 expenses for church ministries is January 4, 2026. Please submit all Payment Requisition Forms along with supporting documentation to the accountable deacons and/or elders for approval.
8. Elder Board Announcement
After much prayer and discernment, and with the blessing of the Elder Board, Rev. Gabriel Ng is announcing his candidacy as the English Pastor of Scarborough Chinese Alliance Church’s (SCAC) Gormley site. The candidacy process will take place in January 2026. We give thanks to God for Pastor Gabe’s 10 years of faithful ministry at TJCAC where he served after growing up in the church family. We invite you to pray with us that 1. God would provide a clear call to Pastor Gabriel and his family, and 2. the God of peace would guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus during the candidacy process and possible future transition.
