1. Sunday School
Sunday School classes will be on break until February 2026. Please enjoy a casual time of fellowship with brothers and sisters after service.

2. 2-Year Bible Reading Plan
There is a 2-year Bible reading plan that some of the brothers and sisters in the English congregation will be joining to get read God’s Word and share their insights. If you would like to join this group, please message or talk to Mindy.

3. Parking Spots
Effective immediately, the two parking spaces located along the building and adjacent to the street in the west parking lot are designated for electric vehicles only.

4. Small Groups
God’s Word teaches us that a life connected to Jesus includes a life connected to other believers. It is essential for a life of faith. If you would like to join one of the following small groups, please talk to Pastor Ken by January 18, 2026.

  • Young Adults (18-30) – Romans Study with J.D. Greear, led by Glen, Justin, Nathan, Tiffany, Ben (2nd & 4th Friday at 7:30pm)
  • Adults (30+) – Romans Study with J.D. Greear, led by Ken and Mindy (2nd & 4th Tuesday at 7pm)
  • Young Families – Good News for Parents by Adam Griffin, led by Ken and Mindy (3rd Sunday at 1pm)
  • Families – Devotions on the sermons led by Herman & Sharon (monthly)
  • Older Adults (55+) – Devotions on the sermons led by Victor and Betty (monthly)

5. 2026 Joint Retreat – Save the Date
Dates: May 16-18, 2026

6. Welcome Pastor Esther Lai
Thanks be to God, and with the confirmation of the Elder Board, Pastor Esther Lai started as part-time CM assistant Pastor effective January 1, 2026. Her main duties are caring, visitations and evangelistic ministry. Her installation ceremony was successfully completed last Sunday. Please see attached PPT for Pastor Esther's brief introduction.

7. Pastor Ken Kim Sabbatical
Rev. Ken Kim, English Ministry (EM) Pastor, will be away on sabbatical starting February 1 to April 30, 2026.
The Alliance Canada encourages the Biblical practice of taking sabbatical.
In Pastor Ken’s absence, all issues regarding EM may be directed to the following members of the EM Committee: Deacon Caleb Chau, Acting Chair, or Elder Vincent Ho Advisor.
